We are honoured to display this badge, which represents Soroptimist International of Chilliwack's commitment to the global advancement of women and girls, and the Soroptimist goal of reaching half a million women and girls through our global Dream Programs!
The Foundation is a charitable organization established in 1963 by the Soroptimist Clubs of Canada. Guided by a volunteer Board of Soroptimists, its purpose is to solicit donations, manage assets, and annually disburse funds to support education for women and girls. Presently its focus is four-fold: Grants for Women pursuing graduate studies, Live Your Dream awards, Club Grants and finally, Willing Hearts International Society Canada, a charity supporting a Kenyan girls leadership camp. In 2026, the Foundation will disburse $165,600 in support of educational activity impacting 800 to 1000 women and girls.
